On Sunday December 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm, the Toronto Workmen’s Circle will host Jordan Chad‘s lecture entitled “Christmas Eve: A Night of Terror or a Jewish Holiday?” This is a Zoom lecture, presented in Yiddish and there is no admission charge. If you can’t attend, this will be recorded and available at the Toronto Workmen’s Circle website the following Monday.
This webinar will focus on Eastern European Christmas traditions that were practiced by Christians and Jews alike. Jordan Chad is a multidisciplinary researcher currently working as a Research Associate at the U. of Toronto, where he received his PhD last summer.Please see the attached flyer for more information.
