The Toronto Jewish Film Festival and The Toronto Workmen’s Circle co-present The Anarchist Rabbi Directed by Adam Kossoff.

This 2014 documentary depicts the efforts of Rudolf Rocker who campaigned with London’s East End Jewish immigrants over 100 years ago, organizing garment trade unions.

Subsequent to the events described in this film, Rocker moved to North American and was significant in the development of the anarchist movement and Workmen’s Circle branch 339.
